… to gain a visual understanding of form and mark making qualities that are developed in my textile work. The nature of both media and their relationship with stitch has inspired my exploration further, experimenting with different surfaces and combining embroidery and collage to create linear pieces that interpret the detail, structure and tactility of the subjects.
